Robson backs Magpies to bounce back

Bobby Robson believes Newcastle have the best possible opportunity to bounce back from yesterday’s defeat at Tottenham because their next match is against one of their rivals for that fourth Champions League spot.

The Magpies are at home to Charlton on Saturday, who climbed above them into fourth place in the Barclaycard Premiership thanks to their weekend win and Newcastle’s 1-0 defeat at Spurs yesterday.
