Arsenal to face Chelsea in Champions League
Champions League favourites Arsenal will play London rivals Chelsea in the quarter-finals of the competition.
The two remaining Premiership sides in the competition – first and second in the domestic league – were paired together at UEFA’s draw in Nyon today.
The match will be the first encounter between two English sides in European competition since the country was readmitted following a six-year ban in 1991.
Manchester United’s conquerors Porto were handed a tie with Lyon whilst nine-times winners Real Madrid will face Monaco.
Holders AC Milan will play Deportivo La Coruna.
