Rangers star Mikel Arteta has revealed he could join the foreign departures from Ibrox this summer.

Manager Alex McLeish has told a number of players, including Nuno Capucho and Emerson, that they will not be in his plans for next season.

But now the Spanish midfielder, who is out with a shoulder injury, could demand a move at the end of the season.

“I will of course have to think about my future because I know there has been some teams showing an interest in me,” Arteta told the Daily Record.

“I might push for something this summer but I haven’t made up my mind yet. Right now I’m just so disappointed because after a year like last year, when we won everything, you just want the success to go on and on.

“I know there was interest in me during the winter transfer window and if that interest is still there at the end of the season I’ll have to make a decision.”
