Middlesbrough will be without full-back Danny Mills for tomorrow night’s Barclaycard Premiership clash with Tottenham as he starts a two-match ban.

The England international will miss the meeting with David Pleat’s side and Saturday’s trip to Charlton after reaching 10 bookings for the season, and Stuart Parnaby and Andrew Davies are standing by to replace him.

Boro boss Steve McClaren otherwise has no fresh injury worries with only Malcolm Christie (broken leg) and Carlo Nash (finger) on the sidelines.

Gaizka Mendieta and Juninho were rested for last week’s 3-1 defeat at Birmingham.

Provisional squad: Schwarzer, Jones, Parnaby, Davies, Queudrue, Murphy, Southgate, Ehiogu, Riggott, Cooper, Zenden, Mendieta, Boateng, Doriva, Downing, Greening, Juninho, Job, Nemeth, Maccarone, Ricketts.
