FIFA moves to limit domestic matches

FIFA will put in motion the first steps towards limiting the number of domestic matches at the world governing body’s congress in Paris in May.

Moves towards introducing a maximum of 45 domestic games in a season will be instigated by FIFA president Sepp Blatter.
