Postma set to pen new deal

Aston Villa goalkeeper Stefan Postma is poised to become the first of a number of players to pledge his long-term future to the club.

Villa boss David O’Leary is eager to conclude new deals for Juan Pablo Angel, Gareth Barry, Thomas Hitzlsperger and Ulises de la Cruz – but reserve goalkeeper Postma looks set to beat them all to the punch.
