Wenger hails historic day for Gunners

Arsene Wenger today hailed the official announcement of the go-ahead for Arsenal’s ambitious new stadium plans as “one of the most important dates in the club’s history”.

Wenger believes the Ashburton Grove stadium can enable Arsenal to complete their target of becoming “one of the biggest clubs in the world”.
