Hughes looks to recover after play-off woe

Mark Hughes faces Wales’ first match since their Euro 2004 qualifying failure, admitting the last few months have been the lowest of his career.

Hughes took the play-off defeat by Russia badly, and has been equally bitter about the drugs row that followed, with the Welsh making a further appeal to UEFA.
