Baros not ready for Cup comeback

Gerard Houllier has ruled out the prospect of Milan Baros returning to the first team for Sunday’s FA Cup tie against Portsmouth despite the Czech striker netting for the reserves.

Baros has been out of action for five months after breaking his ankle, but was on target for the second string in the 3-2 midweek win over Aston Villa. However, Houllier will not rush him back.
