Speculation is mounting that John Magnier (pictured) and JP McManus are set to make another £20m (€29.5m) investment in Manchester United today.

The Irish horse racing tycoons, who between them currently own 25.5% of the club, are said to be on the verge of buying a further eight million shares in the Old Trafford outfit, which would increase their ownership to 28.6%.
