FAI welcomes sports campus development

FAI Chief Executive Officer Fran Rooney has welcomed Minister John O’Donoghue’s announcement today that he has begun the process of delivering a sports campus on the Government site at Abbotstown.

“We very much welcome the Minister’s initiative to deliver a sports campus,” said Mr Rooney.

“The investment in our future sports stars through better and more appropriate facilities will pay significant dividends through the development of our young sporting public,” he added.
