Leeds deadline extended
Leeds have had their "standstill" agreement with their creditors extended another week until February 6.
The club, who have debts of more than £80m (€117.1m), had been given until 5pm today to produce evidence that they could raise £5m (€7.3m) to avoid going into administration.
Leeds' players this week agreed to a wage deferral of around 25%, believed to be worth around £2.5m (€3.7m), and they were also forwarded a £1.5m (€2.2m) payment by Manchester United due as part of the sale of Rio Ferdinand.
