Leeds have had their "standstill" agreement with their creditors extended another week until February 6.

Leeds have had their "standstill" agreement with their creditors extended another week until February 6.

The club, who have debts of more than £80m (€117.1m), had been given until 5pm today to produce evidence that they could raise £5m (€7.3m) to avoid going into administration.

Leeds' players this week agreed to a wage deferral of around 25%, believed to be worth around £2.5m (€3.7m), and they were also forwarded a £1.5m (€2.2m) payment by Manchester United due as part of the sale of Rio Ferdinand.
