Tonight’s Carling Cup semi-final second leg between Middlesbrough and Arsenal has been postponed due to safety reasons.

Tonight’s Carling Cup semi-final second leg between Middlesbrough and Arsenal has been postponed due to safety reasons.

Although the pitch is thought to be acceptable, referee Dermot Gallagher has decided the game cannot take place because of safety fears in the wake of last night’s cold weather.
