Desailly hopes it's third time lucky

Chelsea captain Marcel Desailly has warned the club not to get too carried away by their championship chances just yet – as they have twice blown the title in the recent past through inconsistency.

Desailly was part of two Chelsea title challenges in recent years and on both occasions they have fallen away in the second-half of the season.
