Sir Alex Ferguson and Paul Scholes have been named Barclaycard manager and player of the month for December.

United set the pace at the top of the Barclaycard Premiership in December, beating Aston Villa, Manchester City, Tottenham, Everton and Middlesbrough thanks to some fine displays by Scholes.
