McManaman doubt for City

Steve McManaman is Manchester City’s major doubt as they look to arrest a run of 12 matches without a win against Charlton at Eastlands.

The former England midfielder is suffering from a tight hamstring, so manager Kevin Keegan could be tempted to restore England Under-21 international Joey Barton to his starting line-up.

Michael Tarnat (back) missed the FA Cup draw with Leicester at the weekend, so Danny Tiatto may be drafted into the squad for the first-time this season.
