Berg backs Ostenstad
Rangers defender Henning Berg has backed his under-fire colleague Egil Ostenstad to come good at Ibrox.
The two were team-mates at Blackburn and also played together in Norway internationals.
But while Berg has been a success since his summer switch from Ewood Park, striker Ostenstad has struggled.
Berg, who will quit the game at the end of the season and return to his homeland, insisted: “Rangers haven’t yet seen what he can do and I know he will come good.
“He knows himself he can do better than he has but it is difficult when you are only coming on in games.
“I think the right time to judge a player like him is at the end of the season, not the start or halfway through it.”
Meanwhile, striker Michael Mols has been linked with a summer move to Middle East outfit Al Nasir.
