'I won't quit Villa,' insists Ellis

Aston Villa chairman Doug Ellis has spelt out his determination not to quit the Premiership club and insisted: “I am a great believer in never retiring.”

Ellis will celebrate his 80th birthday on January 8 and has recently come under fire yet again from fans – unhappy at a lack of investment in the squad - urging him to stand down.
