Leeds and Villa uninspiring in poor first half

David O’Leary watched an uninspiring first-half as former club Leeds held his Aston Villa side goalless at the interval.

Villa appeared to have taken a 35th-minute lead when Angel bundled over the line a Lee Hendrie left-wing free-kick to the far post.
