Wenger wants drug rules shake-up

Arsene Wenger insisted that serial drug-takers should be banned for life as he called on football to adopt international guidelines which could lead to a statutory two-year suspension for serious offences.

Wenger believes that football cannot exist in its own world, outside the guidelines laid down by the World Anti-Doping Agency and the International Olympic Committee.
