Gray brings in Batty for Leeds

Leeds caretaker-boss Eddie Gray made just one change to the starting line-up for the visit of Fulham at Elland Road.

David Batty, fit again after missing the 1-1 home draw against Chelsea due to an ankle injury, replaced Stephen McPhail who was unlucky to be on the bench after a superb performance last Saturday.

For the first time this season, the Leeds 16 did not include any of the six foreign loan signings made in the summer by former boss Peter Reid.

Fulham boss Chris Coleman made two changes following last week’s victory over Bolton, with Jon Harley and Luis Boa Morte recalled, the latter after serving a three-match ban.

Jerome Bonnissel and Junichi Inamoto were the players dropped and not even on the bench for a Fulham side looking to strengthen their grip on fourth place.
