Cooper blow for Boro

Middlesbrough will be without veteran defender Colin Cooper for tomorrow’s Premiership clash with Charlton at the Riverside Stadium.

The 36-year-old has withdrawn from the squad through illness, and despite the return of Ugo Ehiogu after a long-term knee injury, Chris Riggott is likely to get the nod in his place.

Brazilian midfielder Doriva is out with an ankle injury and compatriot Juninho will have a late fitness test on a hamstring.

Team (from): Schwarzer, Nash, Mills, Queudrue, Parnaby, Davies, Southgate, Riggott, Ehiogu, Boateng, Mendieta, Zenden, Greening, Juninho, Downing, Ricketts, Nemeth, Maccarone.
