Everton defence duo doubtful
Everton have injury doubts over full back Tony Hibbert and centre half Joseph Yobo for tomorrow's trip to Portsmouth.
Hibbert picked up an ankle injury last weekend against Manchester City, while Yobo is suffering from a neck problem.
If they fail to make it, boss David Moyes faces severe defensive problems with David Weir, Richard Wright and Alessandro Pistone also out.
Pistone has returned to training after further medical treatment in Italy for his hernia problem, but will not be fit for action until next week.
Everton are also expected to recall striker Kevin Campbell after a successful reserve run-out following a season of muscle problems, and he will partner either Wayne Rooney, Francis Jeffers or Tomasz Radzinski upfront.
Steve Watson is also in contention after missing eight games with a hernia injury.
Everton provisional squad: Martyn, Naysmith, Unsworth, Stubbs, Carsley, Watson, Gravesen, Linderoth, Nyarko, Gemmill, Kilbane, McFadden, Osman, Campbell, Ferguson, Jeffers, Rooney, Radzinski, Li Tie, Hibbert, Yobo, Simonsen.
