Eriksson offered new deal

Sven-Goran Eriksson has been offered a four-year extension to his current contract which would see him remain as England coach until 2008.

The offer was confirmed today by the Football Association and follows England qualifying for the Euro 2004 finals with an unbeaten record in their campaign.
