Leeds have been rocked by a new injury blow after winger Lamine Sakho was ruled out for up to a month with a cracked rib.

Leeds have been rocked by a new injury blow after winger Lamine Sakho was ruled out for up to a month with a cracked rib.

Sakho sustained the injury during Saturday’s 2-0 defeat to Bolton at Elland Road, with the Frenchman’s worst fears confirmed after undergoing a scan.

Sakho joins centre-back Roque Junior on the sidelines, the Brazilian suffering an Achilles injury while on international duty last week.

Although his foot was placed in a protective cast upon his return to Leeds on Friday, the 27-year-old is only likely to miss the next two matches at the most.
