Longford ease worries with win at Rovers

Ex-Rover Sean Francis hit a winner to ease Town's relegation worries as they finished with 10 men at Tolka Park.

Francis' goal came on 64 minutes when Stephen Paisley combined with Graham Gartland to cross for Francis to slide the ball home.

The one sour note on the night for Town was the sending off of defender Gartland five minutes later for a bad challenge on Stephen McGuinness.
