Van der Sar in contention

Dutch goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar is available for Fulham’s trip to The Valley after shaking off the groin injury he picked up at Old Trafford two weeks ago.

Japanese star Junichi Inamoto is back after serving a one-match suspension against Liverpool but defender Alain Goma (knee) and midfielder Mark Pembridge (calf) are both in the treatment room.

Argentinian striker Facundo Sava has been back in training this week and has an outside chance of making the squad while Sean Davis could make the starting line-up after retracting his transfer request.
