Gunners leave Vieira on bench

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger left Patrick Vieira on the bench as the influential midfielder lost his fitness battle to make the starting line-up away to Dynamo Kiev.

Vieira has been out of action for the past three weeks and Wenger chose instead to start with Edu alongside Gilberto Silva in central midfield.
