David O’Leary does not subscribe to the views of some supporters that beating Birmingham is more important than lifting silverware.

But O’Leary knows just what is at stake for Villa fans after being on the receiving end of two defeats – 3-0 at St Andrews and 2-0 at Villa Park – last season.
