Celtic chairman Brian Quinn today promised Martin O’Neill cash to spend on players should they qualify for the next stages of the Champions League.

He made it clear that the board would continue to be “sensible” after announcing an annual pre-tax loss of £5.79m (€8.28m) and debt of £17.78m (€25.44m).
