Rovers dismiss Souness link to Spurs

Blackburn have dismissed fresh speculation linking manager Graeme Souness to the vacancy at Tottenham.

Souness has been in the frame since Glenn Hoddle was sacked, but Rovers chief executive John Williams told the club’s official website, www.rovers.co.uk: “It seems the re-kindling of an old story and I can only reiterate that we have had no approach from Spurs, nor would be welcome one.
