Dugarry and Forssell set for return

Birmingham manager Steve Bruce is set to restore the strike force of Christophe Dugarry and Mikael Forssell for the home Premiership meeting with Portsmouth.

Bruce opted to start with Clinton Morrison and Stern John in the midweek Carling Cup tie at Blackpool but neither staked a strong claim for a place in the starting line-up.

Forssell, who came on as a second half substitute, has already struck three times in two Premiership outings since his loan switch from Chelsea.

The rested Robbie Savage will also return – and take over as penalty-taker - but winger Stan Lazaridis is battling to overcome a shoulder injury sustained at Bloomfield Road.

Team (from): Taylor, Johnson, Upson, Cunningham, Clapham, Dunn, Clemence, Cisse, Lazaridis, John, Morrison, Dugarry, Forssell, Savage, Kirovski, Figueroa, Bennett, Tebily.
