Selection worries for McLeish

Rangers manager Alex McLeish is faced with more selection problems ahead of tomorrow’s Champions League opener with Stuttgart at Ibrox.

Steven Thompson sustained a knee injury in Saturday’s impressive 4-0 victory over Dunfermline and joins Ronald de Boer (knee) and Craig Moore (hamstring) on the sidelines.

But Henning Berg has declared himself fit to face the Germans despite feeling a hamstring twinge at the weekend while striker Egil Ostenstad is again included in the squad.
