Zahavi: Ferguson approach 'not true'

Football agent Pini Zahavi has denied any knowledge of Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich’s reported approach to Alex Ferguson.

It was claimed yesterday that the Manchester United manager was approached to become Chelsea’s new boss shortly after Abramovich bought the London club.
