Coventry deny Ravanelli deal
Coventry City have dismissed reports striker Fabrizio Ravanelli is poised to join the club on a two-year deal.
Gianni Palladini, the Italian’s representative, has been quoted as saying Ravanelli had agreed a two-year deal with the Sky Blues and would be unveiled as a signing on Tuesday.
City admitted the 34-year-old front man had joined then for a training session on Monday afternoon but a transfer had never been discussed.
A Sky Blues spokesman said: “It is absolutely untrue to report Coventry City have agreed a deal with Fabrizio Ravanelli.
“Fabrizio joined us for a training session on Monday afternoon, for the first time, and at this moment in time a transfer deal has never been talked about.”
