Fortune returns in United reserves

Quinton Fortune completed the full 90 minutes of Manchester United's reserve-team draw with Sunderland.

Fortune aggravated a thigh injury during the opening-day win over Bolton and has been restricted to a brief substitute appearance since.

But the South African came through the 2-2 draw without a problem and is pushing for a place in United's squad to face Charlton on September 13.

Daniel Nardiello and Mark Lynch scored United's goals as they twice came from behind at Moss Lane.
