Ferdinand out of England squad

Rio Ferdinand became England’s latest injury victim today when he was ruled out of the Euro 2004 qualifier in Macedonia this weekend.

Ferdinand, who has a kidney complaint, has joined Paul Scholes, Steven Gerrard and Trevor Sinclair on the lengthy injury list.
