Wenger plays waiting game on Wiltord

Arsene Wenger is prepared to take a calculated risk on record signing Sylvain Wiltord leaving on a free transfer at the end of this season so as not to compromise Arsenal’s title bid.

Wiltord, who arrived at Highbury three years ago for an estimated £13m (€18.7m), has just 12 months left on his contract.
