Li Tie stays with Everton

Li Tie has joined Everton on a permanent basis after signing a three-year deal.

The midfielder enjoyed an impressive loan spell at Goodison Park last season after joining from Liaoning.

But the China international looked set for a return home after Everton baulked at the £1.5m (€2.1m) asking price.
