Fearful Batty not coming to Ireland

David Batty’s fear of flying has forced him out of this weekend’s pre-season trip to Dublin.

Despite the trip across the Irish Sea taking just an hour, Batty has been told by boss Peter Reid he can remain in Yorkshire and continue to train at Thorp Arch due to his aerophobia.
