Fulham's Davis slaps in transfer request

Sean Davis has rocked Fulham’s pre-season preparations by handing in a transfer request because he feels that the west London club lack ambition.

The midfielder, a former England Under-21 international, was the subject of a bid earlier this summer from Everton, while he would also be likely to interest Middlesbrough and Tottenham.
