Kanoute injury jinx strikes again

Tottenham have admitted their concern over new striker Frederic Kanoute breaking down in his first training session but have labelled his latest injury as “slight”.

The French star, who joined Spurs yesterday from West Ham, managed just 12 starts and five goals for the relegated East Enders last season, mainly due to a groin injury that eventually required surgery.
