Whelan dealin' for way out of Boro

Noel Whelan could be ready to follow Luke Wilkshire out of the door at Middlesbrough as Steve McClaren continues to reshape his squad.

The 28-year-old is in talks with First Division Millwall over either a short-term contract or a loan deal.
