Bolton boss Sam Allardyce today insisted he was not planning a transfer raid for former Blackburn front man Hakan Sukur.

The Trotters chief was reported to have launched a swoop for the Turkish forward, released by Wanderers’ north-west rivals Rovers at the end of the season.
