Cameroon's Foe dies suddenly

Marc-Vivien Foe has died after collapsing in Cameroon’s Confederations Cup match with Colombia.

Marc-Vivien Foe collapsed and died after playing in Cameroon’s 1-0 win over Colombia in the Confederations Cup today.

The news was announced by FIFA after the match at the Stade Gerland in Lyon which took Cameroon into the final.

The cause of death has yet to be confirmed but 28-year-old Foe, who was on loan to Manchester City last season and also spent a year at West Ham, is believed to have suffered a heart attack.
