Sheringham deal not complete, says agent

Teddy Sheringham’s transfer to Portsmouth is not yet cut and dried and his agent has suggested the player will listen to other offers before signing on the dotted line.

The Premiership newcomers yesterday announced the former England striker had agreed terms with them and that they hoped to conclude the seal when the 37-year-old – released from Tottenham at the end of last season – later in the week when he returned from holiday.
