James confident of keeping his place

David James insists he has no fear of losing his England place by playing in the First Division with West Ham as he stressed the importance of loyalty in the game.

James did appear to leave himself at least two get-out clauses by stressing that West Ham could still decide to sell him and querying whether the club would lose their other leading players.
