Shels stay top as City rue missed penalty

Steve Williams kept Shels two points clear at the top with a last-minute penalty save from John O'Flynn.

Jim Crawford was red carded for his foul on George O'Callaghan that led to the penalty.

But Williams dived the right way to parry away O'Flynn's poor spot kick.

Crawford joined defender Jim Gannon who was sent off, also for a foul on the Cork striker, 15 minutes from time as Shels finished with nine men.
