David O'Leary has been announced as new manager of Aston Villa on a three-year contract.
O'Leary replaces Graham Taylor, who resigned last week.
Former Irish international O'Leary took over as Leeds manager in 1998 and led Leeds to the Champions League semi-final before his time at the club soured.
He was sacked by then chairman Peter Ridsdale at Elland Road 11 months ago.
