Bellamy handed one-match ban

Newcastle striker Craig Bellamy was today handed a one-match suspension and fined £5,000 (€7,184) for improper conduct at the end of his team’s 1-0 defeat at Middlesbrough on March 5.

Bellamy was initially charged with using foul and abusive language towards match referee Andy D’Urso.
